Jeff was diagnosed after a skiing accident.

An x-ray revealed that the cancer had already destroyed one lung.

The lung was removed.

“We had him for three years, then it spread to the other lung,” said Velna.

Jeff Reid died in his Ellicott City home.

In November 2004, Velna Reid put together a benefit concert and raised $30,000 for St.
