It lies on the property rights of business owners and liberties of all Americans.

Just because you don�t like something (in this case smoking) doesn�t give you the right to outlaw it.

I despise hip-hop, but you�ll never find me advocating it should be banned because I believe in free speech and expression and the right to self-determination.

No one is forcing you to enter an establishment that allows smoking and no one is forcing business owners to cater to smokers.

It�s a choice made by both respective parties, and to force them to do otherwise is in direct conflict with the values of liberty and democracy.
