"The world's going on for everyone else, but I don't feel the world should go on because it's stopped for me," Angela Joyal, 15, told Savary.

But Lisa King, 41, doesn't see her struggle as insurmountable.

King says her symptoms coincided with a horrific living situation in an apartment she was renting in Tyngsboro.
