Doctors discovered a seven-inch tumor in one of Andress’ lungs when he went to a hospital complaining of flu-like symptoms while touring with his band.

Doctors removed the diseased lung, but will have to operate again to check to see if the cancer spread to other parts of his body.

The prognosis isn’t good for Andress, though he’s no stranger to fighting off deadly cancer.

He previously beat another form of the disease, liposarcoma, which was predicted to kill him.

“They say I’m going to die,” Andress said in a statement.

“At first, I was so scared after hearing it, but I’m going to be okay, I’m going to fight this.

I did it before, I will do it again,” he says.

“All I want to do is go back on tour.” To help Andress with medical bills, the band’s started a fund, and several companies have contributed to a benefit show, which is being scheduled in the act’s hometown of Cincinnati.
